Creativity and Innovation in the Lifelong Learning
Programme

Chair: Thomas Donaldson Sparling,
Masaryk University, Brno, CZ

Rapporteur: Kursat Levent Egriboz,
Division Director, ECOTEC Ltd., Birmingham, UK

The aim is to highlight the existing examples within
LLP that support creative ideas and innovative
approaches in learning. The LLP promotes the
creative use of ICT in teaching and learning, it
increases internationalisation of Europe by cultural
and linguistic diversity. The goal is therefore to
identify the tools for enhancing innovation and
creativity in education, to discuss the existing
obstacles and to sketch a vision for LLP in this context.

Participants:

Magnus Persson, SE: The Learning Teacher,
- Comenius project

Tim Roberts, UK: European Network for Pedagogical
Exchanges of the European Federation of Vocational
Circus Schools,

Parallel session B:

Entrepreneurship and cooperation with business
in the Lifelong Learning Programme

Chair: Libor Práger,
Palacky University Olomouc, CZ

Rapporteur: Klaus Fahle,
National Agency Bildung für Europa beim BIBB, Bonn, DE

The goal is to highlight the benefits and positive impact
of the LLP in supporting creative entrepreneurial spirit.
The LLP also strengthens the cooperation between
education institution and businesses; it enhances
multilingualism, mobility and gives possibility to learn
throughout the whole life. All these are essential for EU
to become the most dynamic and competitive
knowledge-based economy in the world. The purpose
is to evaluate best investments to human capital
through LLP and to identify the ways to strengthen
the knowledge triangle (education-research-innovation)
through cooperation of different actors.
